With continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating injection moulding machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality plastic components. You will work closely with the production and quality teams to maintain optimal machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate injection moulding machines, ensuring parameters are correctly adjusted for optimal production.
  • Monitor and maintain the moulding process to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Perform tool changes, material changes, and machine adjustments as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot machine and production issues, minimising downtime and waste.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure consistent operation.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to ensure products meet specification and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Keep accurate records of production, tool settings, and any adjustments made.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter, with a solid understanding of injection moulding processes and machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials, tooling, and moulding techniques.
