- Handling incoming orders efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly processed and logged.
- Inputting and managing data across various CRM systems such as ACT and Word, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Setting up and managing contracts, ensuring all legal and compliance documentation is in place.
- Assisting with the ordering of materials and fixings for woodworking projects, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Answering phone calls and managing customer and supplier inquiries in a professional manner.
- Providing solutions to any queries from clients or internal teams.
- Performing general administrative duties, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Document management, ensuring that all files are properly stored and accessible.
- Assisting in managing stock levels, performing stock takes, and supporting with deliveries.
- Supporting with on-site activities, including loading vans for deliveries and ensuring all items are safely dispatched.
- Driving the company vehicle to deliver supplies to site locations as needed.
- Supporting with site clear-up and ensuring that the site remains organized and safe.
- Ensuring smooth and efficient dispatch and production processes within the office.
- Previous experience working in an office administration role, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, or woodworking sectors.
- Strong computer literacy skills, including experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- A well-spoken and professional communication style, both verbal and written.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise workload.
- A valid UK driving license and the ability to use the company vehicle for deliveries as required.
- Flexibility to assist on-site with deliveries and clear-up when necessary.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
