  • You will be part of a 2 man team working a 3 shift rota. On your team will be an Electrician and yourself the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer,
  • You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs.
  • All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.
General Scope of work:
  • Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • General Welding and Fabrication
  • Oxygen/acetylene burning
  • Bench fitting
  • Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation (training given.)
Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
  • Experience Slitting/De-coiling would be an advantage but not essential.
