A school in Dudley believes in the importance of Music education and is looking for a dedicated teacher to join their Arts department full-time in January 2025 (or earlier if possible). The school has a wonderful array of musical instruments and facilities for you to utilise and create engaging and exciting lessons.
Key responsibilities:- Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners- Mark and assess students work and track student progression- Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop - particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Music as the subject continues to evolve.- Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
To apply for this role, you will need:
- QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Music (ECT’s, formerly known as NQT’s, are encouraged to apply)
- Excellent subject knowledge of Music in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A strong school reference from your recent employer/placement
