- Handling incoming orders efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly processed and logged.
- Understanding of ordering materials and fixings for our woodworking projects.
- Answering phone calls, managing customer and supplier enquiries in a professional manner.
- Dealing with and providing solutions to any queries.
- General Administrative duties - Faxing, Filing, Photocopying, Scanning
- Data entry onto systems.
- Document management.
- Assisting in managing stock levels, performing stock takes and helping with deliveries.
- Providing assistance on-site when required - including loading vans for deliveries and ensuring items are safely dispatched.
- Previous experience working in a trade counter environment, ideally within construction or woodworking sector.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of materials, fixings, and stock management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to assist on-site as needed.
