- Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring families can make informed use of the clients services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring services meet their needs
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide integrated support for children and families
- Support financial reviews for Direct Payments and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Provide training for new staff on Short Breaks and Direct Payments systems
- Engage with families and colleagues to gather feedback and ensure services are effective and accessible
- Strong organisational and relationship management skills
- Experience working with children’s services, especially in supporting children with disabilities
- Familiarity with direct payments, personal budgets, and financial reviews is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, social care colleagues, and other service providers
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
