As a Payments Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, supporting families with personal budgets, and ensuring the effective delivery of the clients services for children with disabilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring families can make informed use of the clients services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring services meet their needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide integrated support for children and families
  • Support financial reviews for Direct Payments and ensure compliance with financial policies
  • Provide training for new staff on Short Breaks and Direct Payments systems
  • Engage with families and colleagues to gather feedback and ensure services are effective and accessible
Skills required:
  • Strong organisational and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with children’s services, especially in supporting children with disabilities
  • Familiarity with direct payments, personal budgets, and financial reviews is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, social care colleagues, and other service providers
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
