The Role:

As a Primary Teacher, your key responsibility will be to deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stages 1 or 2, fostering a positive learning environment for all pupils. You will be a key figure in the classroom, supporting each child's academic, emotional, and social development, while ensuring lessons are aligned with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to varying abilities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil learning and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
  • Contribute to school initiatives and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or 2
  • In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire, engage, and challenge pupils of all abilities
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to pupil development
