Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Machine Shop Manager for their facility in Dudley.Salary of up to £45kThis Machine Shop Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and lead a dynamic production team, ensure efficient production processes and maintain high-quality standards.
Key duties of the Machine Shop Manager include:
- Cultivate a team-first culture that promotes both high morale and exceptional performance.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive training, development, and skills enhancement plan for the team
- Oversee daily production operations
- Develop and implement production schedules and plan
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements
The Machine Shop Manager will have the following skills/experience:
- A strong background working with CNC machine - turning milling etc,
- Previous experience in a Machine Shop Manager role, with a proven track record in people management and process improvement
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
