Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Managerto lead quality initiatives for amanufacturing operation in Kingswinford. You will focus on driving continuous improvement through 5S, process optimisation, and ensuring product specifications meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes across the manufacturing floor.
- Lead 5Sinitiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure all products meet specified standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any defects or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to build quality into the manufacturing process.
- Manage supplier quality and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in quality management, particularly in engineeringor automotivesectors.
- Hands-on experience with 5Sand continuous improvement methodologies.
- Background in partitioning systems, doors, or similar products is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and train teams.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality management role within manufacturing or engineering.
