The Company

Based within one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The facility near Dudley has benefited from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing group has been established over 30 years so therefore is an extremely secure group.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of PLC’s & Automated Machinery
  • Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated PLC Controlled environment. There will be lots of fast moving machinery such as fillers, flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will also ideally have experience of automated systems and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.
