Want to join them and support their adolescent safeguarding service?

Following the recent service re-design and the launch of the Hertfordshire Family Safeguarding Model, the Adolescent Safeguarding Services work with older children [aged 13 to 17] in a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary teams. Core partner agencies include CAMHS emotional wellbeing workers, Substances Misuse Workers, Money Mentors, Youth Mentors and Domestic Abuse Workers.

Integral to the Adolescent Safeguarding Services is the Dudley Child Exploitation Team [DEx], which support children at risk of exploitation across children's social care. The key partner agencies supporting the DEx are the Police, Health colleagues, Barnardo's, Phase Trust and the Violence Reduction Partnership.

In other words, the Adolescent Safeguarding Services are integrated and co-located multi-agency and multi-disciplinary social work teams based in the Council office at Corbyn Road, Dudley.

Job Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A recognised Social Work qualification e.g. Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent as recognised by the relevant professional body.
  • 18+ months post qualifying experience
  • SWE Registration
