Role: Goods-in Admin Location: DudleyRate of Pay: £11.44 to £12.50phPertemps are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Stores Assistant to join our client based in Dudley. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our stores operations while working independently and as part of a dynamic team.Main Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Sales and Procurement Manager.
  • Greeting delivery drives, customers, and visitors professionally at the store hatch.
  • Issuing out goods using Internal stores requisitions.
  • Booking Goods In from suppliers, checking of deliveries to ensure all products have been delivered.
  • Kit jobs for departments within the business.
  • Issuing stock out to relevant departments.
  • Chasing shortages from suppliers as and when required.
  • Maintaining and updating stores paperwork and filing systems.
  • Using computer systems (i.e., Words, Excel, Email, and Smart Vision [training will be provided])
  • Attending meetings when required.
  • Participating in full stores stock takes (once or twice a year).
  • Adhering to Health & Safety rules and Manual Handling guidelines.
Successful candidates will have:
  • Strong commitment to the role with the ability to work independently.
  • Punctual, polite, and courteous with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hardworking and flexible, with a willingness to work overtime during busy periods (Early mornings, Late evenings, Occasional Friday afternoons, or Saturday mornings).
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software (Training provided)
  • Must adhere to Health & Safety regulations and Manual Handling guidelines.
