We are looking for a passionate and qualified Functional Skills Tutor to deliver online English and Maths lessons. This flexible role allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success while working around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide engaging one-on-one online tutoring for Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Develop tailored lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to enhance learning.
- Foster a supportive online learning environment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians to share progress and address concerns.
- Maintain records of tutoring sessions and student achievements.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience tutoring Maths and English, particularly Functional Skills or GCSE-level.
- Strong subject knowledge and online teaching expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools.
