Red Recruitment is recruiting an Administrator in Bristol to join a leading UK company.

Previous administration experience is required, this is a temporary position and the hourly rate is 12.50 per hour. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a large and reputable company.

This position is based in three different sites across Bristol, Patchway, Yate and Kingswood, you may potentially need to work across all three sites therefore you will need a valid driving license.

Key Responsibilities of an Administrator:

  • Obtaining information to process requests using script based forms, update computer records as appropriate and to provide advice on all aspects of the waste and recycling service area
  • Logging service request relating to Environmental Services, such as Pest Control, Noise Nuisance, Pollution, Licensing etc
  • Using tact and diplomacy to resolve enquiries, this involves the ability to communicate effectively and express complex and technical concepts and procedures in ways that are understandable
  • Ensuring that the work is undertaken in accordance with legislation, council policy and the operational service plan of the section
  • Completing a variety of administration tasks

Key Skills and Experience of an Administrator:

  • Previous administration experience is required
  • You should have a good working knowledge of office based IT systems, including Microsoft office, CRM, document management and in house systems
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure
  • You will have the appropriate skills to undertake financial transactions, such as taking payments
