Position - Driver / Assembler 

Hours – Monday – Friday 45 hrs per week (This will be based on working hours of 07.30 – 17.00 with 30mins lunch break and 20 days holiday per annum)

Terms – Permanent

Salary - £28,080 and after £29,250 after 3 month probation.

This will be a dynamic & important role within the small team helping the operations of the company to provide an excellent customer experience. The role is varied and covers many aspects of the operations which all work together with focus on delivering goods to the customers meeting their expectations day in, day out.

The role includes, but not limited to, the key responsibilities as below and has great future opportunities.

  1. Assisting with management of warehouse to include accurate goods in & goods out.
  2. Checking details of goods in accurately and either putting into stock or preparing for on-going despatch including re-packaging where required.
  3. Assisting in transport to ensure goods arrive to clients on-time.
  4. Identifying components needed for upholstery & powder coating and arranging despatch/collection.
  5. Assisting to provide a safe environment in line with the H&S policy.
  6. Picking orders and preparing for dispatch (palletised & loose loading)
  7. Assisting in furniture installation and after install customer care.
  8. Driving and delivering responsibilities where necessary.
  9. Provide support to any area of the business if required.
  10. 10. To assist in the continual improvement of operational systems & processes including the identification & reduction of errors and faults

Whilst the above outlines the prime responsibilities, as in all small businesses, flexibility may be needed to help with other tasks as and when required.

Skillsets required – practical knowledge of installation, full UK driving licence, forklift licence, positive, energetic & flexible attitude.
