Avenue recruitment are currently looking for a Legal Secretary to join a well established client based in Kinross. Our client is looking for a professional, enthusiastic individual to join a friendly, efficient team.
The Role
The main tasks will include:

  • Preparation of formal documents including contracts, letters, faxes, email messages and all other relevant correspondence
  • Audio typing in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Assisting with caseloads of Residential Conveyancing matters from Instruction to Completion
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and communicating via telephone, email and occasionally face to face
  • Providing secretarial support
  • Diary Management


The Candidate

  • Prior legal administration or secretarial experience
  • Knowledge of rented properties/residential leases
  • Experience within Residential Conveyancing and the ability to demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • You will have excellent communication and client care skills and be comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Quick and accurate typing skills with the ability to prepare documents with digital dictation
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
