Our client is currently recruiting a HSE Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst promoting a culture of safety across the organisation

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and assess the impact of changes in legislation on company policies.

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Regularly review and update policies to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.

Implement corrective actions and preventative measures based on findings.

Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE best practices.

Promote safety awareness and a culture of responsibility among staff.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending improvements.

Maintain records of incidents and ensure proper reporting to regulatory bodies.

Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related inquiries.

Prepare and present regular reports on HSE performance to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field or years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 14001).
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
