The Stores Assistant will assist with handling deliveries and collections, shipping preparation works, organisation of container and pipe storage areas, driving the forklift, driving duties and utilising the SAP system for goods receipting.
Role specific responsibilities
- Maintain organisation of container storage areas on site
- Maintain organisation of pipe storage areas on site utilising PTL owned multidirectional forklift
- Handling of incoming and outgoing goods
- Shipping related preparations, required for equipment/consumable shipments to project sites.
- To ensure that the workstation/work area is kept clean, tidy, and well organised
- To ensure waste material is placed in the correct waste bins/skips
- Ensure consumables and equipment are handled and stored as per relevant procedures
- To ensure cleaning activities within the stores area are executed to a high standard
- Driving duties as required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Basic experience in Fork Lift , multidirectional FLT License preferred
- Computer literate
- Basic practical knowledge of QHSE systems
