We are currently seeking an Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture by covering with materials such as leather, fabric, or vinyl.
## Duties
- Assemble furniture components to prepare for upholstery
- Fabricate and sew upholstery materials to cover furniture pieces
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and attaching materials
- Perform heavy lifting of furniture pieces during the upholstery process
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
## Requirements
- Previous experience in upholstery or a similar role within a warehouse environment
- Mechanical knowledge for operating hand tools and power tools effectively
- Proficiency in fabricating and sewing upholstery materials
- Ability to lift heavy furniture pieces during the upholstery process
