As a Learning support assistant at this Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School in Kirkby, Knowsley, you will be an integral part of the dedicated team. The school's welcoming and caring environment creates a sense of family among students. Staff model the school value of striving for excellence, inspiring students to do the same. This Learning Support role is working in year 2 supporting a young person on a 1:1 basis, as well as helping the class teacher, to promote positive behaviour and acheive the intended outcomes for the learning activities in which students are involved. This is a long-term contract with the potential of going permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

Desirable for this Learning Support Assistant role:

-          Experience working with KS1 children and providing 1:1 support

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
