The Recruitment Co. are delighted to be recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Industrial Client based in Kirkcaldy!!


Salary: £43,000 per year.
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Mix of days, backs and nights (Monday to Friday)
Shift times: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 2pm; 2pm to 10pm:; 10pm to 6am
Friday 6am to 12pm; 12pm to 6pm; 6pm to 12am.
Location: Kirkcaldy


Your role as an Electrical Maintenance Technician

  • At all times, follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Provide Maintenance support to each manufacturing department on a daily basis using good engineering practices.
  • Implement PPM as needed throughout the facility.
  • Provide regular upkeep on Site Services (compressed air systems). refrigeration plants, cooling towers, package boilers, hydraulic systems, and HPHW systems).
  • Locate and fix electrical and mechanical defects, including PLC control systems. As needed, make modifications.
  • Install, identify, and fix DC and AC drives.
  • Participate in process optimisation initiatives aimed at lowering idle times and raising departmental productivity.


What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Technician

  • Although not required, Compex certification would be advantageous.
  • Having knowledge with HV systems would be beneficial.
  • Necessary experience working in a production environment for heavy equipment.
  • Must have an engineering apprenticeship and expense working in a high volume manufacturing setting
  • Ability to provide all production departments with engineering assistance.


** The successful candidate will be given access to onsite familiarisation program, which will be carried out throughout the first 6 months of employment**
