We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work with one of the UK's leading FM providers.
About the Mechanical Engineer
You will be working in a high end commercial building, working on all Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works. This will involve HVAC maintenance.
Shift patterns is continental shifts.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance and reactive tasks
- Repair HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard
- Undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed.
- Key components are AHUs,FCUs,Compresses and chillers and pumps.
- Repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties and services
- Undertake repairs to pumps within the workshop, including replacement of Mechanical Seals and other common causes of pump failure.
- BMS and Control Systems associated with Mechanical Plant and Equipment to assist fault diagnosis and correct set up.
Requirements for The Mechanical Engineer
- City & Guilds Level 3 - mechanical or plumbing and heating.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar field
- Use of Trend BMS
