Our client is a leading supplier within the oil, gas, and offshore industries, providing an extensive range of high-quality pipe, fittings, and flanges in carbon, stainless, duplex, and alloy steel grades. They are now seeking a driven and experienced Branch Manager to lead their Teesside operations, expanding their reach across the North of England and into new territories.

Role Responsibilities:

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Driving commercial activities in the UK Oil, Gas, and Offshore sectors, with a primary focus on the North of England and new market expansion.
• Representing the company’s capabilities to colleagues, customers, and key stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers to identify opportunities and ensure repeat business.
• Monitoring and reporting on competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Delivering on branch performance targets and aligning with company objectives.
• Overseeing daily operations in line with company procedures and SHEQ requirements.
• Following up on quotations, managing offers, and ensuring regular customer communication.
• Participating in sales and management meetings to provide valuable insights and contribute to strategy development.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Background in sales of pipe, fittings, and flanges, with expertise in various steel grades (carbon, stainless, duplex, alloy).
• The ability to build rapport and establish relationships with senior management and directors.
• Commercial acumen and market awareness, with the ability to make profitable decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to seek and capitalise on new opportunities.
