One of their sites is a high profile educational site situated in Stockton-on-Tees. They are looking for an experienced Head Chef to manage the catering operation on a permanent, full time contract. The salary for this role is 39,000 per annum, plus company benefits.
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience working as a Head Chef or Chef Manager in a school, college or university environment, managing a team to deliver high volume dishes with quality, timing and presentation, within fixed time periods. You will be well versed in all aspects of food hygiene and allergens legislation and have the required qualifications as evidence of this.
This is a Monday to Friday role with some Saturday work based on hospitality evnts that need to be catered for. hours will generally be 7am to 4pm but you will be expected to be on site as per the needs of the business.
With this being an educational facility, you will be expected to have, or held previously an enhanced DBS certificate which allows for working with children.
