The Role and School
This primary SEND school, based in Thornaby-on-Tees are looking to appoint a passionate Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stages 1 and 2 on a full-time basis. Working in this wonderful school as part of an established team, the desired Primary SEND Teaching Assistant will be working both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis with pupils with ASC and SEMH.Â

Requirements
The requirements for the Primary SEND Teaching Assistant position are:
- Experience of working within SEND environments.
- Be resilient and able to meet demands of a special school setting.
- Understands the needs of students with learning difficulties.
- Right to work in the UKÂ
- Hold a UK driving licence or be willing to use public transport.Â
