Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications to ensure the highest quality product delivery.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, working closely with the development team to prioritize fixes.
- Conduct regression testing, system testing, usability testing, and performance testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide detailed and clear testing reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, providing feedback and insights to improve product reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role with a focus on web applications, particularly relevant will be direct experience working with financial data platforms.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium/Playwright).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Authorization to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React).
- Experience with version control systems.
- API integration testing, Postman scripting, DevOps principals
