Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is looking to expand their team in Aberdeen with the addition of a Site Engineer. They're committed to delivering work of the highest standards while ensuring the safety and well-being of their team members. Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying the site
- Implementing strategies in line with management's directives
- Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety protocols on site
- Obtaining permits and warrants
- Maintaining company quality procedures
- Meeting project deadlines and budgets
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff
- Assisting the team with additional site engineering tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor
- Experience in setting out for groundworks and infrastructure projects
- Relevant civil engineering qualification (HND/C or Degree)
- CAD or ground modelling knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Valid CSCS card and UK driving license
