Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Maintenance Support Engineer (MSE) Team Leader. In this role you will be primary point of contact for maintenance activities for the aircrafts and associated equipment on site. This includes responsibility for scheduled and preventative maintenance activities, supporting as Engineer and Team Leader where appropriate.

You will also ensure coordination of all maintenance documentation and related documentation for tasks including health and safety precautions

  • IMS data management: Support data correction, documentation checks, and IMS test script development and execution.
  • IMS Support and Training: Provide on-site IMS support, mentoring, and issue resolution.
  • IMS Improvement: Maintain IMS expertise, address issues directly, and contribute to IMS report development.
  • Ensure personnel are authorised, trained, and comply with safety regulations for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Centre, Production planning Cell Core Team, and RAF Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) teams.
 Essential experience
  • Experience as the primary point of contact (POC) for all MSE actions and issues arising from meetings, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) meetings.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate a team within a similar sector, including pastoral care for employee well-being. Previous experience in leading and developing staff, collaborating with team leaders, and engaging with other members of the management team.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Support Engineer Team Leader
  • Training in an Aircraft related discipline to City and Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent i.e., Aero NVQ Level 3
  • Knowledge of MAA Regulatory frameworks
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain standard BPSS Clearance.
