We are looking for an mechanically-bias maintenance engineer to come and join us at our fully automated site in Newark, Nottingham. As a company we turnover more than £300m and are an established household name globally within the building products industry.

As for the environment, it's automation meets heavy industry. If you’re a mechanically-biased maintenance engineer currently button pushing in an automated environment, this opportunity could be perfect for you. The last thing you’ll be doing here is standing idly watching conveyor belts roll by.

Successful applicants will have some experience in an automated environment such as distribution centres or FMCG type environments, where you’re taking a raw product from point A to point B.

Essentials:

  • Experience within an automated environment, such as distribution centres or FMCG environment.
  • Attitude to thrive in a heavy industry type environment.
  • Applicants with an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering are preferred 
  • Welding qualifications and milling machine experience are desirable
