Junior Management Accountant, Salary up to £30,000, KnaresboroughContract till December 2025

Are you an Junior Management Accountant available to start work October 2024 and commit till December 2025? Do you like working in a busy team with a company that are experiencing a rapid growth?Working for the leading company in their sector their Headquarters are based in Knaresborough with offices elsewhere in the country and teams overseas.The Junior Management Accountant will be an integral member of the finance team reporting to the Finance Manager.

Skills Required:• Previous experience is essential• Ideally AAT qualified or similar• Experience of working with a group of companies advantageous • Excellent communication skills.• Ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities • Preparation of management information.• Responsible for month end accounting including posting journals, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.• Assisting preparation of cashflow forecasts and budgets.• Preparation of VAT returns. • Providing support to tax advisers for corporation tax returns.• Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts. • Managing and/or supporting audit processes for Group Companies. • Identifying and delivering process improvements and introductions of control where necessary.
