Finance Manager Location: KnaresboroughSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum Are you a finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is on the hunt for a Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering a high-performing finance function. Working closely with the Group Head of Finance and the wider team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and dynamic business. What You’ll Be Doing as Finance Manager:
  • Support, mentor, and train the finance team to foster their long-term growth and development.
  • Assist in handling complex financial matters, such as payroll, payments, cash book management, and journal entries.
  • Review financial processes and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficiencies.
  • Manage financial accounting up to trial balance, including assisting with accruals and prepayments.
  • Prepare VAT submissions for MTD compliance and carry out PAYE reconciliations.
  • Ensure finance procedures and documentation are standardised and consistent across all group companies.
  • Collaborate with directors, managers, and external advisors, contributing to meetings as needed.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, ensuring high-quality data to support business decisions.

  • Experience working in a finance role within a complex organisation.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills – able to interpret financial data and spot trends.

This is a full time, permanent position working full time in the office. The successful candidate will receive a salary between £38,000 - £45,000 per annum.
