We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming Primary School in the Harrogate area from September. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, with the potential to be appointed on a permanent basis or as a temp to permanent contract, depending on your preference.
You could be working in Year 1, 2, or 3, depending on your experience and expertise, with the chance to make a positive impact in the early stages of children's education. The school is looking for a teacher who has excellent behaviour management skills and can foster an environment where students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and inspire students in Key Stage 1 (Year 1, 2, or 3)
- Deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum
- Maintain strong behaviour management in the classroom, creating a positive and productive learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching
- Uphold the values of the school, integrating the school's ethos into everyday practice
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1, 2, or 3)
- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to supporting student needs
- Passionate about creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for children
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
