The company

My client, a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC situated in Knaresborough, is searching for a Production ShiftManager. Known for a sumptuous range of premium offerings, this business boasts a fleet of well-invested manufacturing facilities spanning the UK. The role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage a team of Team Managers who are responsible for a large number of operators and technicians.

You will be responsible for monitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring the Health & Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas, maximising profits and drive performance improvement.

The person

You will have experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment, a proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role, have an understanding of cost models and experience of budgetary control and understand pest control management, with the ability to challenge decisions and behaviours ensuring consistency to my clients customers. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to make on the spot decisions and be very much a people person.
