Due to the continued and exciting growth of one of our clients we are currently recruiting for a Buyer for their growing team. Based in Knaresborough, Harrogate.
Base Salary 25-30k with an OTE of £55k+ Working Monday-Friday office hours.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Purchase stock that aligns with the company profile and dispose of trade vehicles in compliance with company policies.
- Manage stock control meticulously and develop stocking plans.
- Represent the company at promotional events and assist the General Sales Manager in maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of vehicles coming into stock and arrange the delivery/collection of new stock.
- Monitor stock levels and make appropriate purchases, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Source vehicles through various methods, keeping an eye on market trends and demands.
- Work closely with finance staff to encourage vehicle referrals for purchase and sale.
- Set clear guidelines for assessing vehicles for part exchange and streamline vehicle turnaround times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock control and management.
- Strong understanding of market trends in the automotive industry.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to liaise effectively with different departments, including finance and sales.
- Proficiency in using stock management systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally at events.
