Opportunity to join a well-established, progressive and innovative organisation based near Harrogate. For over 35 years we have been supplying corporate wear and personal protective equipment (PPE) for some of the largest companies in the UK.
Due to continued growth we are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to report to the Accounts Manager over 2/3 days per week. Hours to be discussed. Experience not essential but would be an advantage.
Conditions are excellent with modern environment and facilities. Our premises are on a main bus route and have ample parking.
Main Duties:-
- To process purchase invoices and resolve any purchase invoice queries
- Communicate internally and externally to solve invoice queries
- Reconcile supplier statements & assist Accounts Manager with remits to ensure timely payments are made
- Credit card reconciliation
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Ad hoc finance jobs to help the wider team
