Role: Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry

Hours: Full time preferred, part time can be considered.
We are currently seeking an experienced specialty doctor or associate specialist in Psychiatry to work in a private psychiatry hospital.
The hospital provides inpatient care for female and male patients who have acute and complex mental health needs. The medical team consists of Consultant Psychiatrists and junior doctors and has a full MDT compliment.
The post holders responsibilities will include ensuring that patients are admitted in accordance with agreed gatekeeping procedures; that newly admitted patients receive a thorough and prompt assessment; that patients are reviewed regularly as needed, usually being seen face-to-face by themedical team; that the MHA Code of Practice is followed appropriately; and that care and effective treatment is organised on a multidisciplinary basis, and making safe arrangements for discharge and the transfer of information.

Qualifications:
- Medical Degree
- GMC registration with full license to practice
- Section 12 and MRCPsych are desirable but not essential
- Experience of working at specialty doctor level in an inpatient setting
