The Maintenance Engineer position is with a leading PLC listed manufacturing company located in Nostell, Wakefield, at a new factory.
The role offers a salary of £51,097 per annum with additional benefits such as a 5% KPI bonus, overtime pay, and a 10% pension match.
Candidates are required to have a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, along with a strong awareness of Health & Safety.
The job involves providing maintenance support, ensuring production targets are met, and performing machine set-up and changeovers efficiently.
Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance is essential, with the position suitable for various engineering backgrounds including multi-skilled engineers.

The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading PLC listed manufacturing business, based in Nostell, Wakefield at a BRAND NEW Factory. The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer include:

Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Make sure PPMs and commisioning stages are followed

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
