The Maintenance Engineer position is with a leading PLC listed manufacturing business located in Nostell, Wakefield at a new factory.
The role offers a salary of £51,097 per annum and requires candidates to have a recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Candidates should have a high degree of health and safety awareness and the ability to fault find and provide solutions to maintenance issues.
The job involves providing plant-wide maintenance services, supporting machine set-up, and ensuring production targets are met.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x and 2x, with additional benefits including a 5% KPI bonus, health care scheme, and a 10% pension match.

The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading PLC listed manufacturing business, based in Nostell, Wakefield at a BRAND NEW Factory. The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer include:

Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Make sure PPMs and commisioning stages are followed

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
