We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Knottingley, Wakefield. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting as soon as possible and continuing until July 2025. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children, helping them develop foundational skills and a love for learning.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s development.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in a Reception class.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
