A fast-growing professional consultancy in the Knutsford area is seeking an Assistant Accountant.
The position reports to the Group Accountant and requires AAT or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA candidates with relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include group reporting, handling P&L and balance sheet aspects, and preparing month-end trial balances.

Fast growing professional consultancy business based in the Knutsford area requires an Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Group Accountant this is a newly created role within a business that is a truly exciting period of growth. The role will offer development for the right person and is ideally looking for someone who is AAT/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA

Duties of the role will include;

Group Reporting
Handling all aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet
Preparation of month end trial balance
Preparing and posting journals, prepayments and accruals
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with the Purchase ledger
Assisting with the Sales ledger
Cashbook management
Weekly cash forecast to senior management
Preparation of budgets, working with the Group Accountant and FD

The right candidate for the role will have experience in the above and be looking for a role that will support someone studying and develop skills.
