  • Job Title/Location: Paraplanner, Cheshire
  • Salary: To £40,000
  • Office/WFH: Up to 2 days per week WFH. First few weeks are office based
  • Requirements: Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA/wealth management environment
  • Role Snapshot: Taking on instructions from debriefings following client meetings, case managing from that point, analysing data, using research tools to produce first-class suitability reports.

The Role: The focus on this Paraplanner role is case managing from the point of de-brief following client meetings. The analysis, research and suitability reports must be completed in such a way as to ensure that the firm’s client and service propositions are delivered in an efficient and robust manner, whilst maintaining high levels of risk management, operational effectiveness. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidating client needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and course of action in a written format via suitability reports, client specific illustrations & key features document.
  • Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures.
  • Preparing existing client files ready for reviews.
  • Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.
  • Carrying out research and analysing products and services that is appropriate to each client’s financial circumstances.
  • Proposing and drafting financial solutions that meet each client’s goals, needs and objectives.

Skills / Experience Required: For this Paraplanner role you must have previous paraplanning experience within an IFA/wealth management business. The ability to produce professional suitability reports is key as is the ability to prioritise and multi-task. A 'can do’ attitude with the drive to succeed in a face paced environment and the ability to build strong relationships is also crucial

Additional Information: Salary for the Paraplanner role is to £40,000 + professional study support, company pension, 4 x DIS benefits and free parking. As mentioned, first few weeks will be office based, then moving to 1-day WFH and eventually 2 days WFH. Please apply below.
