My client is a fast growing, forward thinking professional services consultancy based in Knutsford. Due to growth, they are seeking a number of finance professionals to join them on a very exciting journey.

This role is for a standalone Senior Credit Controller. This role will be responsible for creating credit control processes for the Group and to manage debt collection and reduce debtor days. A professional services background would be an advantage for this role. The right person will also understand a people-based business and management of relationships of high value clients.

Reporting the Finance Director duties will include;

  • Ownership and control of all credit management activities
  • Reporting to key stakeholders
  • Creating and reviewing credit related policies, procedures and controls
  • Management of credit related business integration and migration for acquired companies.
  • Act as the point of escalation relating to the credit function, and resolve account disputes to minimise aged debt and improve proficiency
  • Manage all credit related process improvement projects

The right candidate will have;

  • Experience of working within professional services, working with a variety of size/value businesses
  • An excellent understanding of all functional aspects of credit control management
  • Be process driven and have experience of implementing processes
  • A strong communicator with great relationship building skills
  • IT skills - Strong Excel/ERP skills
