As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for solving problems, ensuring efficiency and driving continuous improvement across site.

Key Tasks:

  • Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, minimising downtime.
  • Conduct planned maintenance and statutory checks with precision and professionalism
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team to prioritise tasks and resolve issues swiftly
  • Provide support for continuous improvement projects and business-critical initiatives
  • Manage contractors and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Learn and enhance machine processes, ensuring optimal operation
  • Document completed work and propose actionable solutions for outstanding issues

The Person:

You are a skilled professional with a safety-first mindset, strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Apprentice trained Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer (NVQ3/C&G/ONC)
  • Proven experience attending to breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic
  • PLC fault finding experience - desirable
  • Strong technical fault-finding skills and ability to work from engineering drawings
