Finance Manager

Robert Half is working closely with a property development business based in Knutsford to recruit for a Finance Manager. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, the company specialises in creating high-quality residential properties.

Reporting to the Finance Director you will have strong expertise in Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and VAT returns, ensuring the financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• CIS Management; Oversee and manage all aspects of CIS compliance, including verifying subcontractors and submitting monthly returns.
• Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Make sure all invoices/transactions are assigned to correct project.
• Set up new suppliers and CIS accounts on Xero.
• CIS invoices - deduction - returns.
• Assist with the preparation for external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Make sure all invoices are on the system in order to pick up customer invoices, so our system reads correctly.
• VAT returns.

This is an immediate start.

In-depth knowledge and experience with CIS and VAT return processes is essential for this role.
