Paraplanner (or Junior Paraplanner) - Knutsford, hybrid

MBF Recruitment is delighted to be representing an established firm of Independent Financial Advisors based in Knutsford. Our client is seeking a talented Paraplanner to join their growing team.

Candidates will be responsible for servicing existing business, platform-based work, illustrations & regular contact directly with clients & wrap/platform providers. Candidates will also be supporting the advisers with analysing information and conduct basic research to produce articulate and appropriate suitability reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting comprehensive and accurate financial planning suitability reports for a variety of client needs.
  • Collaborating closely with advisors to provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Prepare documentation to be presented to the client by the adviser in the advice process
  • Ensure that cases requiring pre-approval are submitted in a timely fashion and confirmation to proceed is obtained

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Ideally, you have strong report writing capabilities for all types of financial planning suitability reports. However, candidates with more limited report writing experience who demonstrate potential and enthusiasm are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Qualifications: Relevant financial planning qualifications such as the Level 4 Diploma or progress towards them will be advantageous.
  • Experienced IFA Administrators who are looking for an opportunity to progress into a Paraplanning role will also be considered.
