Job Purpose
Ensure a high standard of appearance, hospitality, service and cleanliness in the restaurant and bar areas.Supervise and train Food & Beverage Assistants. Oversee the cellar and cash control procedures for the department.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Supervises the bar, restaurant and in-room dining services and manages the daily shift rota of FoodBeverage Assistants, ensuring appropriate levels of staffing.
- Monitors, maintains and improves standards of service and hygiene in all food and beverage frontof house areas.
- Flexibly works in any front of house area that requires assistance during peak periods.
- Supported in the recruitment and hiring of FOH team alongside the F&B Manager and ensuresstandards of training are maintained during onboarding.
- Ensures money handling procedures are strictly monitored and adhered to during business periodsand the appropriate charges enforced as per the Team Handbook.
- Orders supplies for the department, if required.
- Has knowledge of the food and beverage products on the menu and answers enquiries relating tothose.
- Ensures beverage and other stock are replenished to serve customers in the bar area.
- To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the companys dress andappearance policy.
- To be a positive ambassador for the Companys CARE values at all times.
Education and/or Experience
- Diploma or higher in hospitality management or related field is desirable.
- Previous relevant experience.
Licenses and Special Requirements
- Food safety certification and/or HACCP certified.
