Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Java React API) Knutsford / WFH to £65k
Do you enjoy working with a range of programming across the full stack? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on position at a scale-up technology company / FinTech that provide compliance software to major banks and finance institutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a small development team with a strong pipeline of new projects, you'll be empowered to innovate and explore new technologies and can have a real impact on the team and company success as a whole. You'll design and develop scalable, high performance web applications using Java, SpringBoot and MongoDB on the backend as well as JavaScript and React on the client side, participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback, suggesting ways to improve the current platform.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in Knutsford once a month (please not for the initial four week it'll be 1-2 days in the office to get up to speed).
About you:
- You have experience with Java and SpringBoot backend development and also have JavaScript and React skills on the frontend
- You have a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
- You have full software development lifecycle experience and a good appreciation of architecture and design, CI/CD and version control
- You're collaborative with great communication and collaboration skills
