Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are seeking an experienced Financial Services PA / Administrator to assist the Managing Director for a Financial Planning business based in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is a great opportunity to join a successful Financial Planning firm where you will benefit from having experienced and supportive colleagues around you. Role Responsibilities:

The successful Financial Services PA / Administrator will be working directly for the Managing Director and some of the duties within this job will include:

  • Provide high level professional support to the Practice Principal.
  • Diary management - scheduling client meetings, booking appointments, time for emails / calls etc
  • Arranging business travel, including, but not limited to, client meetings out of office, internal meetings, flights etc
  • Creating and updating client records and files accurately to ensure excellent client service
  • Using relevant internal systems, including Salesforce, Ibusiness and My Practice to make sure that client information is logged correctly;
  • Preparing for client meetings
  • Liaising with third parties to make sure client cases are processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Answering calls/taking messages/taking client queries
  • Following up client meeting actions.
  • Management of email inbox.
  • Management of own tasks within salesforce
  • Producing Illustrations & payment forms (top ups etc)
  • Assisting with accounting / liaise with accountant where necessary
  • Assisting with Marketing/Events where necessary
  • Working with the team, assist with other advisers where necessary.

Person Specification

The incoming Financial Services PA / Administrator will have previous experience of working within Financial Services. In addition, you will be competent with using various software packages. You will also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Be a professional PA with relevant experience
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Demonstrates the necessary IT skills required to fulfil the role
  • Demonstrates understanding of the financial services sector
  • Excellent working knowledge of all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of all processes appropriate to role
  • Good understanding of the roles and responsibilities within the Practice
  • Good knowledge of the process to escalate queries and complex cases.
  • Able to use and manage internal telephone system
  • Ensure all folders on servers are maintained to team standards
  • An advocate of change for the greater good of the business
  • Works to keep updated and informed of changes within our industry.
  • Demonstrates a Growth Mindset, continually looking for learning opportunities.
  • Personal development plan in place and active
