We are working with a renowned global organisation to recruit an Interim Internal Controls Analyst. This role is critical in supporting the business by enhancing financial, operational, and IT controls, as well as risk management processes. This 12-month interim contract offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation's ongoing efforts to strengthen internal controls and ensure robust governance across all business units.

This position can be based in either Knutsford or London, with the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to work both remotely and from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal control team members and external partners to organise, communicate, and manage schedules for meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Identify, analyse, and implement opportunities for process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and control effectiveness throughout the organisation.
  • Maintain and manage documentation related to process flows received from third parties, ensuring accurate version control and consistent handling.
  • Support the embedding of internal controls within operating companies, helping to demonstrate continued compliance with control requirements.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks across the business.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in internal or external audit roles, ideally within a multinational or complex business environment.
  • Prior experience in risk management is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
