Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

To support and maintain the Purchase Ledger for the accounts department
Process expenses/VAT expenses
Bank reconciliations
Manage a portion of credit control & perform credit checks
Calculation of stock unit costs
Making Payments / Preparing weekly Payment runs for authorisation by the accounts Manager
Provide support and cover to other functions within the team as required
To support the accounts manager with tasks as required
Ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The candidate will have:

Experience working in a similar role - Required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
Studying towards AAT qualification - Desirable
Previous SAP experience - Desirable
